Dunja was born in a litter of 5. She has
2 brothers and 2 sisters. Brother Derrick and sister Delicia went to the
Di Randelli cattery (you can find them in our links page) and the other
two found good homes in Holland too. At the time Dunja came to live with
us we had two house cats: Mushin and Yasmin. Yasmin, already being quite
old and having been terribly ill, decided to raise Dunja all over again
and teach her good manners. I guess it was necessary in her opinion.... And all Dunja did was sleep.... |

Dunja loved to play when she was a kitten and she still does, 4 years later! She'll play with anything that has her interest: a mouse, paper pellets, chestnuts, hazelnuts, plastic balls, a leaf, a feather, a stick, a tulip bulb, water, food..... |

Her favorite place to spend her time: the garden! Just for her I had to cut down a tree, that was standing too close to the fence. Mushin and Yasmin would only use it for sharpening their nails, but I was sure Dunja was going to use it as a springboard to the outside world. Now we have an apple tree standing pretty far from the fence, but still too close, I know she would have! Since I don't want to cut that one down too, I have to find other ways to keep her from climbing over... |

She grew up to be a fine
young lady with a lot of "go". A year after we got her, Grafitis
came and her happiness was complete. We wanted to breed them, but it would
still take some time until Grafitis was big enough, so we found her
another lover in the meantime: Borre van Pondiki. July 21st 1997 their litter was born: Ingvild, Ingeborg, Ida, Ivar and Inger. |
